Manchester United fans all thought the same as they watched the sensational massacre of Tottenham players by Antonio Conte.
The Spurs boss has banked not only on his players but also on his employers in stunning fashion after a 3-3 draw with Southampton.

And lost his post-game cool
Spurs had a 3-1 lead in the game at St Mary’s but threw it away with 15 minutes to play, much to their manager’s disgust.
“The problem is that we have shown that we are not a team. We are 11 players,” he said.
“I see selfish players. I see players who don’t want to help each other, who don’t play from the heart.”
Conte then took aim at chairman Daniel Levy and owner Joe Lewis, as well as the players.
He continued: “It’s the same every season, it doesn’t matter who the manager is. They’re used to it here.
“Don’t play for something important. They don’t want to play under pressure. They don’t want to play under stress.

Conte lashed out at his players and his employers
“Tottenham’s story is this. They’ve owned it for 20 years and they’ve never won anything. Why?”
The Italian joined Spurs in early November 2021 and was seen as a huge coup with five Serie A and Premier League titles.
Before returning to England, where he previously managed Chelsea, he had been heavily linked with Manchester United as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
That move never materialized, however, with United sacking Solskjaer just weeks after Conte returned to London with Spurs.
Some have suggested United may regret not acting sooner to change managers, with Ralf Rangnick’s disastrous interim spell securing their worst ever Premier League campaign.

But they ended up with Ten Hag instead
However, it meant they could sign Erik ten Hag from Ajax in the summer of 2022, with many fans delighted with the move.
One tweeted: “Waiting for Erik ten Hag and not hiring Conte despite pressure from the media and pundits as he was literally begging for the job could be one of Man Utd’s best moves in recent years .”
Another added: “Tbh I wanted Conte for us like a lot of United fans but that’s because we were desperate at the time. Man I sleep well at night knowing we got Erik ten Hag .
A third said: “Our fanbase really wanted Antonio Conte over this man. Waiting for Ten Hag could become one of the best decisions we have ever made as a football club.
And another summed up the mood, saying, “I thank the stars everyday for getting Ten Hag and dodging Conte’s bullet when Ole was sacked.”
