Manchester United are reportedly considering caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick for the full-time job at Old Trafford.
Rangnick was hired by the Red Devils to steady the ship at Old Trafford after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November.

Rangnick has impressed United’s hierarchy during his caretaker tenure in charge
The German was first hired on an interim contract, until the end of the season, and then worked as a consultant at the club.
This was to give United time to assess their best options and appoint someone on a more permanent basis this summer.
Among their top candidates are Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino, Ajax’s Erik ten Hag and Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers.
But The Sun reports that United have put their search for a new boss on hold after being impressed with the German so far.

There are signs the United dressing room is more united under Rangnick
Rangnick has won five of his eight games in charge so far, with just one loss.
Performances on the pitch may not have shone but the Man United hierarchy would be impressed with the way he handled some of the club’s big egos.
More recently, he had to calm down Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese superstar launched a strop after being substituted against Brentford.

There is said to be a growing belief that Rangnick might be the right answer for them.
The 63-year-old is also said to be open to taking the job on a permanent basis.
He previously said: “Maybe if they ask my opinion and everything goes well and we develop the team, I could even make the same recommendation to the board that I made in Leipzig. twice when I recommended that it might be a good idea to continue working with me for a year.”
