Manchester United ace Paul Pogba is set to star in a documentary series about his life on Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon will broadcast the “ Pogmentary ”, which will offer a unique glimpse into the life of the French international on and off the pitch, in 2022.
Georgia Brown, Head of European Originals at Amazon Studios, said, “Paul Pogba is one of the most important talents of his time, so we’re excited to be working with him on a global deal and his series The Pogmentary.
“We all know Paul for what he can do on the football field, but his influence goes far beyond, and he’s definitely an icon for a whole generation.
“Through the unprecedented access we have been given, Prime Video will show the man behind the stardom, delving into his life off the pitch and letting him tell his story in his own words.”
Prime Video has shown a number of popular sports documentaries in the past, including All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, Truth Seekers and All or Nothing: Manchester City and The Test.
Last week it was revealed that Pogba United teammates do not want the player to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
The midfielder has never been too far from speculation since returning to Old Trafford in 2016.
The French World Cup winner’s contract expires in the summer of 2022 and it looks like United are already talking about an extension of the deal.
