My friends, the Champions League for this 2020/2021 season is quickly approaching its conclusion. There are only four teams left: Man City, PSG, Real Madrid and Chelsea. The return leg of the two semi-finals takes place this week.
The first is Man City vs PSG.
The first leg of that encounter ended 2-1 in favor of Man City, giving them the away goal advantage. This means that even if PSG won the next game 1-0 (squared to 2-2 overall), Man City would pass because they scored. After away goals.
But you can expect PSG to go out of their way for this one. I expect to see goals here.
That being said, PSG talisman (and this year’s Ballon d’Or favorite) Kylian Mbappe is injured and might not play. This could seriously affect the outcome of this pivotal match.
Here’s all you need to know …
Champions League semi-finals start time
PSG vs. Man City
The second leg between PSG and Man City will start at 3 p.m. ET (12 p.m. PT) on May 4.
The return leg between PSG and Man City will start at 8 p.m. GMT on May 4.
The return leg between PSG and Man City will start at 5 a.m. AEDT on May 4.
How to watch
In short, your best bet is to sign up for Paramount Plus.
Full details of Paramount Plus’s online coverage of Champions League matches can be found here. Paramount Plus has access to all Champions League matches. You will also be able to watch all the matches of the Europa League, the second tier European competition.
Univision does, however, have the rights to the Spanish American broadcast of the Champions League. You can find out more here.
If you want to watch Champions League football in the UK, we recommend signing up for BT Sport.
BT Sport broadcasts every Champions League game, but it also gives you access to a bunch of other good stuff, like the UFC, so it’s worth getting it.
Just like the English Premier League, Optus Sport features all Champions League matches in Australia.
If you care about watching football at all, the Optus Sport offer is good. Especially if you follow the EPL which, being the most prominent league on the planet, most football fans do.
Disclaimer: I subscribe to the service and love it. Easy access to all games on my smart TV and works well with a mobile app.
