MAFS star Nasser Sultan reportedly clashes with red carpet security at ARIA Awards

Reports have surfaced that former Married at First Sight star Nasser Sultan ran into security during the ARIA Awards at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday night.

According to Yahoo, the former music promoter was refused entry despite his name not being found on the VIP list.

Meanwhile, Nasser, who has faced ‘door-breaking’ charges at high-profile events in the past, was then pictured on the red carpet.

The publication reports that Nasser initially attended the nights musical party as a media outlet, but became frustrated with his access allowance.

Journalists covering the event were crammed into a single enclosure.

After being allegedly turned away, Nasser was then seen making angry phone calls and walking around the venue, before finally hitting the red carpet.

‘Nasser thought he was there [at the ARIAs] as one of the big celebrity guests,” a source told Yahoo.

Nasser had spent weeks planning his outfit and thought he was walking the red carpet, they said.

“He was faced with reality upon arrival and found he was stuck behind a barrier,” the source continued.

Yahoo reports that Nasser was hoping to get red carpet access so he could get interviews with famous musicians for a website.

He was then photographed on the ARIA red carpet wearing a black leather jacket, t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, and dark white-framed sunglasses.

Nasser was approached for comment.

Meanwhile, some of the reality favorites who walked the red carpet included MAFS stars Domenica Calarco, Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson.

Bachelor star Brittany Hockley also made a head-turning appearance.

It comes after Nasser was warned of his rowdy behavior during Australian Fashion Week earlier this year.

Security at Carriageworks, the Sydney venue where most parades take place, issued a stern warning to the 55-year-old to ‘stop being a pest’.

The warning came after Sultan was pictured harassing former NRL WAG Phoebe Burgess in the front row of the Oroton window on Tuesday.

An apologetic sultan told Daily Mail Australia he was ‘really embarrassed’ by his behavior around Burgess, but denied crashing into the show or stealing anyone’s seat, as previously reported .
