“I feel like a really big dick, really,” she admitted.
“They know the person, they know your weakness and then they start playing on that.”
Mishel was originally tricked into signing up with an online broker, which Daily Mail Australia cannot name for legal reasons, after being seduced by misleading reviews and news articles about the business .
An article presented to her claimed that several high-profile Australian celebrities, including a notable television host, had endorsed television brokerage – only for Mishel to later discover that the entire article had been fabricated to deceive her.
She was also given a fake address in London for the company and was directed to websites containing glowing and fake reviews of the company as well as false claims touting the credibility and safety of the service.
“It was a scam story that wasn’t real,” she said.
“I read the article…but it was a fake story and I didn’t realize it.”
The 51-year-old has been working as a pornstar on OnlyFans for a year, but her bank account was bled dry by the scammers, who claimed to run a successful financial brokerage.
Mishel was also seduced and wooed by one of the crooks, who claimed to be a suave businessman from London.
Mishel says she began to have suspicions after a few months of not seeing any financial returns, which was when the company sent a handsome financial broker named “Charles” to persuade her to stay – and pay up.
“They must have known who I was, because all of a sudden they gave me a financial broker who became a love,” she confessed.
“He started courting me with chocolates and flowers.”
The love rat even convinced Mishel that they were going to meet and he would take her to London so they could be together.
“It became a love story and he was making more and more money for me,” she lamented.
Fraudster convinced Mishel to hand over her savings with false promises she was investing in their ‘future’ together – only to run away with the star’s money
To keep the 51-year-old in line, the brokerage would fabricate stocks online to make it look like Mishel was making thousands of dollars and doubling her investment, even though in reality they were just stealing all of her money.
“They have all the stocks and you can see them buying and selling, but it’s not real,” she explained.
“He was like, ‘Listen Mishel, invest a lot more because it’s for us! It’s for our future.”
Mishel said Charles spoke to her “almost every day” via Whatsapp, tricking her into thinking they had a romantic relationship and would one day be together.
Mishel and the fraudster, known as ‘Charles’, chatted daily on WhatsApp and he even sent her chocolates and flowers to keep her from getting suspicious.
In screenshots of their conversations provided to the Daily Mail, Charles flirts with the MAFS star, promising to buy her a pony and telling her she’s beautiful.
“I am very attracted to you and want to know you better,” he wrote in a message. “This year, I’m taking you to London.”
Although the fraudulent lover claims he was a suave London-based businessman, Mishel revealed he had a suspicious South African accent, but she was so in love with him that she put her worries of side.
“Maybe I should have known,” she sighed. ‘
I really didn’t know. He had a bit of an English accent but with a hint of South African.

At one point ‘Charles’ promises to buy Mishel a pony – but it was a lie to trick the lonely grandmother into giving her more money
The former MAFS star finally realized something was wrong when she had to rush to hospital following a nasty attack of pancreatitis.
‘I wanted to withdraw $5,000 [for medical bills] and that’s when the wheels came off,” she said.
At the time, Mishel was tricked into thinking she had over $180,000 in her account.
She was then tricked by another story from Charles, who told her there was an ongoing investigation at the company and he was unable to access her funds.
“Maybe I should have known,” she sighed. ‘I really didn’t know. He had a bit of an English accent, but with a South African tinge’
Once Mishel finally put her foot down and tried to leave the brokerage, she was told she would only get her money back if she coughed up another $12,000.
“The last call I got, they said I could get my money back if I paid another $12,000. I just thought, ‘Oh my god, they don’t stop!'”
After Mishel realized something was wrong, she wrote negative reviews online to warn other potential victims, only to have the reviews mysteriously disappear from the site shortly after they were posted.
“They kept getting fucked up,” she explained.
“I was writing to them saying, ‘Why are you deleting my reviews? It’s a scam!”
The fraud didn’t stop there, with the crooks infiltrating Mishel’s cellphone and computer after she gave them access through the AnyDesk remote desktop app.
The 51-year-old didn’t know her computer had been breached until she logged on and saw a website open with a shopping cart full of purchases she had never made.
Mishel has since reported the fraud to “everyone”, including the ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission), the police, the ACSC (Australian Cyber Security Center) and his bank, but was told that she “probably” wouldn’t. get his money back.

“The dumbest thing is that I kinda missed the guy I had a fake relationship with,” she said.
“I missed calling me,” she continued. “I have to keep thinking to myself, ‘This isn’t real, Mishel. He didn’t have those feelings. I don’t know…’ she trailed off.
“I just don’t want anyone else going through this. It’s heartbreaking.
