MAFS viewers were shocked on Tuesday when Shannon Adams tearfully admitted to his ‘wife’ Caitlin McConville that he was still in love with his ex-fiancée.
And in a shocking twist, Daily Mail Australia can reveal the 30-year-old personal trainer is now back with his former flame after things didn’t work out with Caitlin.
Despite splitting from ex Jamea Drake in mid-2021, the couple stayed in touch throughout filming MAFS last year and once back in their hometown of Cairns in December, they decided to give another shot at their relationship.

Sources close to the couple, who are parents to four-year-old daughter Milli, reveal they never really got along and always stayed in touch, even when they weren’t together.
“They were together for about seven years…it was very on and off, but they’re happy now,” a friend said.
“I think Shannon tried to get over Jamea by continuing on MAFS, but he had doubts as soon as he married Caitlin.
“He was upset after the wedding and wanted out right away.”

They are now determined to make it work this time around and are “taking it slow and steady,” the pal added.

He didn’t even try to hide his feelings, bluntly telling his wife that he still had feelings for Jamea but didn’t want to drag them down.
