BEIJING, November 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Since opening at the National Art Museum of China On October 29, the exhibition “Pursuing Dreams with a Pure Heart – Han Yuchen Oil on Canvas Collection”, a specially appointed scholar of China Academy of Fine Arts and honorary professor of Repin Academy of Fine Arts, has garnered wide acclaim from audiences for its precise, vivid characterization and rich, subtle color expression.
The morning of November 3, the exhibition welcomed another important guest, Ma Fenghui, Party Group Secretary, Vice President and General Secretary of the China Artists Association. He entered the third showroom. He first carefully read the preface to the exhibition, and then, under the guidance of Han Yuchen, went through the 25 works of the first section “Birth of a Dream and Self-Learning Difficulties”. Visiting the 20 works in the second section of the exhibition, “Deep Riches of Taihang”, Secretary Ma said, “Taihang Mountain is not only a beautiful and magical natural landscape, but also a heroic mountain with red marks. It is also a manifestation of the artist’s practice of the purpose of art rooted in creation.”
When Secretary Ma entered Exhibition Hall Five, after carefully examining the 38 works in the third section of the “Representation of Multiple Ethnicities” exhibition, he carefully asked Han Yuchen about the drawing process in Tibet, in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places, and the lives of different ethnic groups. At the same time, he highly praised Han Yuchen’s use of his rich pictorial language and various techniques to accurately portray the characteristics of different ethnic groups, and encouraged Han Yuchen to continue on this path of preservation and strive for higher quality paintings, so like to live in tune with the times.
At the end of the visit, Han Yuchen presented Secretary Ma with the ladder of Handan’s own art museum and the collection of 19th century European oil paintings. Secretary Ma said he would definitely take the time to visit to show his support for private art museums’ contribution to popularizing art education.
