Ludvig Aberg was playing the tournament of his life.

Until an unfortunate incident during the final round of the Masters threatened to derail his brilliant momentum.

Aberg spent Sunday trading blows with Scottie Scheffler, Max Homa and Collin Morikawa at Augusta National.

With every smooth hole, Ryder Cup star Aberg gets closer to making Masters history.

The 24-year-old Swede, who only turned professional in June, was playing in his first major tournament and evened the lead in the final round.

But after sinking a very impressive putt on the ninth hole, Aberg tried to refuel for the second half of the final round.

He appeared to be eating an energy bar when the devastation struck.

Aberg contacted celebrating customers.

High-fived a little too hard and accidentally knocked the bar out of Aberg’s hand.

Disappointment poured in, with Aberg clearly upset about losing his precious nutrients during the match.

He shook off the low blow and continued walking, eventually letting out a warm smile – and letting the customer know that he didn’t really care.

However, the lost snack could have affected him from the next hole.

As Scheffler moved to nine under, Aberg’s charge was halted at the tenth with a double bogey after the Swede put his second shot into the water.

One fan joked: “Ludvig before this guy knocked his power bar out of his hand: -7. Ludvig since this guy knocked his power bar out of his hand: +2.”

Maybe Aberg was stopped by the boss in several ways.
