X Factor star Lucy Spraggan has revealed her journey to body confidence, sharing insight into her impressive gym routine.
The singer, who entered the singing competition in 2012, posted a montage video of herself stretching and lifting weights during some of her recent workouts.
She also shared a look at the results of her gym workouts, flaunting her abs in a sports bra.
In a candid caption, Lucy explained that she had “made a habit” with her regular workouts and finally felt motivated to sweat it out.
She also shared that she had “a weirdly good body image this week” and felt like she was “making progress” with her confidence.

“I used to think going to the gym was all about lifting the heaviest weights possible or running farther than anyone else,” Lucy mused.
“I never understood when people had the motivation to hit the gym every day or move their bodies until I started doing it myself.”
“I learned that doing things that made me feel good, even doing those things when I felt bad was the key to consistency and creating a habit.”
“When it comes to training, I’m not always in the mood and feel like doing it, but I still show up every day.” I’m better off doing things I don’t want to do, after all it’s NEVER too bad!

Days later, Lucy posed for a mirror selfie in a crop top and high-waisted pants, confessing, “I’ve had a weirdly good body image this week.” No explanation for this, but I feel it.

“My body is functional and I am healthy. I’m smart as f**k! I knew I needed to focus more on these things for ages, and I have, but it took LITERALLY YEARS to feel my brain settle into it.
“Body image is the thing that took me the longest to grasp, but we could finally make progress here. HOPE FRIKKIN.’
Last year, Lucy admitted she made the mistake of only eating “500 calories a day” at the start of her weight loss journey.
Lucy, who trained as a personal trainer and launched her fitness brand Fully Rewired, admitted that 500 calories “isn’t enough for an adult human being”.
Since her weight loss, the singer has decided to get a breast enhancement and says her new 34D assets have made her feel “absolutely amazing” after they previously looked like “two billiard balls in a sock”. .
Lucy said she wanted to be “completely transparent” about what happens when you lose weight, adding that you have “loose skin” and your “breasts become empty bags of skin”.
The star admitted she had “loose skin” on her stomach and arms, adding that it’s the one thing you can’t change without surgery.
