Lucy Fallon has revealed she is expecting her first child with footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson.
The former Coronation Street actress, 26, announced she was five months old and expecting her bundle of joy in February, but also admitted the experience was tinged with anxiety as she unfortunately had a miscarriage in March.
Still, the soap opera star revealed the tragic loss brought the couple closer together and made them realize they wanted to start a family.

Lucy said OK! magazine: “I was a bit shocked by what we went through and didn’t think it would happen so soon. But we put makeup on and that was like the next step for us. It felt like it was meant to be.
The actress initially didn’t believe she was pregnant again and admitted she FaceTimed her shocked mother after a positive test result before later telling Ryan the happy news.
She also revealed that she was being monitored throughout her pregnancy as she was classified as ‘high risk’ due to her heart-shaped uterus.
While that wasn’t the cause of her miscarriage in March, it understandably caused the star some concern.

Although the couple are looking forward to becoming a family of three, they are still coming to terms with their recent loss.
Discussing her “traumatic and horrific” miscarriage, Lucy explained: “Even though so many people go through it, you never expect it to happen to you. I had imagined this little person who was going to come into our lives and then she was taken away from me.
“It was really tough mentally and really awful to deal with, but Ryan was so supportive of me.”
Lucy had to be operated on after the loss of to remove pregnancy tissue, but luckily Ryan was able to be by her side while she was in the hospital.
In the same month as his miscarriage, Ryan was also hospitalized as he required knee surgery to treat historic injuries.
While she had yet to announce her miscarriage, Lucy referenced the couple’s woes in an Instagram post on March 21, sharing a selfie of the couple which she captioned: ‘A tough but lucky 2 weeks have ux ❤️’

Lucy and Preston North End midfielder Ryan went Instagram official in May last year.
Their romance came about after Lucy called things off with ex-partner Tom Leech for good in January 2021.
Lucy first split from her boyfriend of three years last August, before starting filming for ITV’s Don’t Rock The Boat, after the lockdown ‘separated’ them.
But insiders close to the actress later revealed they secretly got together in September last year to give their relationship one last chance.
However, according to a report, Lucy quickly evicted the insurance manager from the house they shared in Blackpool for the last time.
