Lucy Fallon has announced the arrival of her baby boy with footballer boyfriend Ryan Redson.
The former Coronation Street actress, 26, revealed the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, gushing: ‘Our beautiful boy. 01/30/2023.’
Lucy announced her pregnancy in September, but admitted the experience was tinged with anxiety as she unfortunately had a miscarriage earlier that year.
Still, Lucy admitted the tragic loss brought the couple closer together and made them realize they wanted to start a family.
The actress initially didn’t believe she was pregnant again and admitted she FaceTimed her shocked mother after a positive test result before later telling Ryan the happy news.

She also revealed that she was being monitored throughout her pregnancy as she was classified as ‘high risk’ due to her heart-shaped uterus.
While that wasn’t the cause of her miscarriage in March, it understandably caused the star some concern.
The ITV soap star celebrated her pregnancy with a lavish baby shower at Liverpool’s Shankly Hotel in December.

She revealed she was expecting a baby boy in an interview with OK! Magazine, where she admitted that Ryan was “convinced” they would welcome a girl.
“Obviously we weren’t bothered anyway, but Ryan was so convinced we were going to have a girl. I was so sick at first and none of my sisters were sick when they had their boys,” she told the publication.
She added that everyone guessed it was a girl from her 12-week scan, the actress decided not to reveal the gender until after her baby shower – which was decorated with a neutral color palette.
Throughout her pregnancy, Lucy kept her fans up to date on Instagram with a number of stunning snaps showcasing her blossoming bump.
She also looked radiant in a flowing white dress as she made her red carpet debut at the 2022 Pride of Britain Awards at Grosvenor House in London.
Lucy and Preston North End midfielder Ryan went Instagram official in May last year.
Their romance came about after Lucy called things off with ex-partner Tom Leech for good in January 2021.
