Will Apple and Lucid team up to create an Apple Car?
Lucid Motors and Apple have long been rumored to be teaming up in the future. If this is indeed the case, we could see a huge increase in Lucids stock price. A partnership with Lucid Motors and Silicon Technology Company would almost certainly cement Lucid as one of the leaders in the EV race.
Apple’s latest announcement
Apple has just announced that they will choose who will manufacture the Apple car at the end of 2022. This news has caused a rumble in the electric vehicle space, as many companies will try to win this unique opportunity to create an Apple car that will be desired by many. Apple had the opportunity to buy Tesla for around $60 billion when Elon Musk went to Apple just before Tesla almost had to declare bankruptcy. Tesla was rejected and ended up getting outside investors to help save the company. This ended up being a huge mistake for Apple, as Tesla is now valued at over a trillion dollars.
Why Lucide?
Lucid Motors prides itself on having the best battery technology in the electric vehicle industry. For an in-depth look at Lucid Motors’ battery technology, check out Lucid Motors’ Secret Weapon. Peter Rawlinson also foreshadowed a future Lucid x Apple partnership. This isn’t the first time Peter Rawlinson has tried to give Lucid fans some clues. He winked at the camera during a live interview which many Lucid fans believed was a hint that Lucid Motors was merging with $CCIV. It eventually came to fruition and the early investors made a lot of money.
During Lucid Motors’ Q3 earnings call, Mr. Rawlinson was asked whether the company intended to license its technology in the future or partner with a company in the Silicon Valley in the future. Peter Rawlinson replied that Lucid would be open to a possible partnership with a Silicon Valley company. The SEC has a rule that any false rumor must be denied and dismissed if there is no validity to the rumor.
When Lucid Motors and Apple were asked about a potential partnership, both companies declined to comment. Why wouldn’t companies just deny the rumor if it was false. Hyundai and Kia had discussions with Apple, but those conversations quickly fell apart. Along with Lucid and Apple, they are still very much alive.
What does Lucid have that Apple could want?
Apple has always built its brand on solid products and the best technology. Lucid Motors thrives in both areas. Lucid has state-of-the-art battery technology and is at the pinnacle of luxury in the automotive industry. My guess is that Apple would want to compete with Tesla because they made the terrible decision not to buy Tesla out and could potentially partner with Tesla’s main EV competitor. It would be a win-win situation for Lucid and Apple as they would be able to create the most advanced electric vehicle in the world. Apple would help Lucid Motors expand globally because Apple is by no means short of cash and understands just how massive the EV industry will become.
It’s no surprise that both Apple and Sony want to get their hands on that market share and many EV startups will end up not surviving all those legacy automakers and giant tech companies trying to get their hands on themselves. start in the electric vehicle industry. .
Lucid Motors Studio x Apple Store
I also find it interesting that Lucid chose the location of his studio right under an Apple store. This surprised Lucid supporters and quickly caused a stir for the electric vehicle company on social media in November 2021. The location is Miami in downtown Brickell.

I wrote an article detailing a group of different Apple employees who have jumped ship and are now working for Lucid Motors, which could also be a good foot in the door for a potential partnership with the two. Consult this one to know more about the possible partnership. Lucids Talent Takeover
My conclusion
My opinion on an Apple x Lucid partnership is that it will simply help both companies grow in the EV industry. I believe that if a partnership occurs, Lucid’s stock could triple in a matter of days. This would be a huge win for Lucid Motors as they see themselves at the front of electric vehicles in the future. Apple would certainly help them become a leader in this industry and they would have enough money to grow their renewable energy division which is expected to bring in around $22 billion by 2026.
Time will tell if Lucid and Apple reach a partnership deal, but it’s very exciting that Apple is announcing who the Apple Car maker will be at the end of 2022.
