Ireland’s Leona Maguire and England’s Charley Hull are tied for the lead in the Meijer LPGA Classic after the opening rounds at seven under Michigan.
Both players got a 65 to lead the event alongside Japan’s Nasa Hataoka and American Lauren Stephenson.
Hull missed the fifth, but the Eagles in the 14th and 18th put her back in the lead.
Maguire birdied the first and landed another shot on the last hole.
Among the early starters, the 26-year-old continued her impressive recent form and started off strong with a birdie on the opening hole before landing more shots on four, seven and eight.
She continued her momentum on the last nine with birdies on 10 and 14, before ending her lap with another birdie on 18.
In a low scoring field at Blythefield Country Club, Hull had four birdies and two superb eagles.
England’s Georgia Hall and Jodi Ewart Shadoff are in touch with the leaders after opening all four rounds under Stephanie Meadow of Northern Ireland, who is at risk of missing the cup after securing a brace of 73.
