A participant in the Stan Love Triangle dating series has been accused of buying over 130,000 Instagram followers in an attempt to boost his online profile.

Fitness instructor Patrick Hong raised his eyebrows after his followers mysteriously skyrocketed without explanation.

Hong’s follower count has grown by 131,500 over the past 30 days, which is an unusual growth compared to his co-stars, who only had a few hundred followers.

Social Blade stats show that its followers jumped several thousand at a time without explanation, often indicating bot activity.
