The budding romance of Love Island couple Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga seemed to hit the rocks on Thursday after Tanya won the kissing challenge.
And in a spoiler for Friday’s show, Shaq finally confronts his girlfriend about his behavior.
“I understand it’s a game, but I felt like you thought winning the challenge was more important than respecting me,” he told her.
He was shocked at how involved she was in the kissing game, despite the pair exchanging the words “I love you” in a recent episode.
Tanya then asks Shaq why he felt so upset about the kiss challenge.

“I just want to understand where this is coming from, because I don’t understand, you’re all mine and I’m all yours. I only want you, I don’t care about anyone else,” she said.
“I understand why you felt the way you did, but it wasn’t my intention to make you feel that way, I’m sorry I didn’t understand you sooner, I understand now,” he said. she asserted.
“Are we on the same page? he then asks her.
“We are, I’m just stubborn…so it takes a minute,” she replies.
Tanya previously admitted that her furious reaction to her behavior in the kissing challenge “gave her the rage”.
In scenes that aired Thursday night, Shaq was furious when he learned that Tanya had won the villa’s kissing challenge, after getting the boys’ top scores with her passionate kisses.
He was quick to accuse her of being “disrespectful” with her raunchy displays of affection, which didn’t sit well with Tanya and the other girls at the villa.
In the episode, each of the girls was tasked with kissing the blindfolded boys, with each getting a mark out of 10.

It was then revealed that Tanya got the highest score in the challenge, leaving Shaq visibly unimpressed.
He asked Ron, ‘Am I overreacting?’
And when the girls learned, and Tanya, that Shaq was annoyed, she said, ‘If there’s one thing that’s going to make me nauseous, it’s this. It’s not that deep. It’s so petty.

He kept telling Tom Clare, “I’m not talking to him!” while the boys suggested he should “take up space”.
