The people present Lollapalooza this year should be aware of new COVID rules and restrictions. The event, configured to run from July 29 to August 1, will present performances of Miley Cyrus, Tyler, The Creator, Post Malone, and many more.
What are the rules and restrictions?
To access the venue, participants will need to provide proof of ‘fComplete COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results. “
For those who have not yet been vaccinated, the covid-19 test must be taken in 72 hours from the event.

In addition, ticket holders must accept Lollapalooza fan health commitment, an agreement to maintain these exposed or infected with covid-19 away from the event.
The Commitment states that those who have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive should not attend. The same goes for those who have thSymptoms of COVID-19 experienced within 48 hours before the event. Finally, those who have ‘traveled to any international territory identified by applicable federal or state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19 ”are encouraged not to attend.
At the event
Those who received their covid-19 vaccines are not required to wear masks, while unvaccinated people are. Unvaccinated participants are also encouraged maintain social distancing as much as possible.
All participants will activate a festival bracelet which will allow them to do cashless purchases from all event providers.
Event organizers also encourage frequent hand washing and to “Avoid physical contact with people outside of your group.
Tested positive? You are entitled to a refund.
If a ticket holder’s test is positive and “cannot attend the festival, may receive a refund.“
