Marquez Valdes-Scantling didn’t hold back after Kansas City won the Super Bowl for a second consecutive year.
Locker room footage showed Scantling celebrating after a thrilling 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers that gave the Chiefs an NFL dynasty.
As Patrick Mahomes won the MVP award and an emotional Travis Kelce hugged Taylor Swift while vowing he’d be back next season in hopes of a three-peat in Kansas City, Scantling celebrated ‘a more unique way.
Holding a cigar on a social media live stream, the Chiefs wide receiver appeared to let all of his haters and critics know what he really thought of them.
“The first (Super Bowl championship) ring goes on the little finger,” Scantling said.
Then the Chiefs receiver, who caught three passes for 20 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers, gave social media an old-fashioned No. 1 salute.
“The second ring goes on the middle finger,” Scantling said, briefly showing her middle finger to the camera before continuing her celebration.
Then he interrupted the live broadcast to gloat about Kansas City’s second consecutive world title.
“I don’t even smoke,” he said. “But I bought myself a little cigar.”
Fans enjoyed the live stream of the celebration.
“Playoff MVS is a monster,” one fan tweeted.
Kansas City overcame a 10-0 deficit late in the first half to claim the victory.
Scantling is part of a Chiefs receiving corps that has been regularly criticized throughout the season.
The fifth-round pick began his career in Green Bay before joining the Chiefs.
He now wins the world championships twice out of two with Kansas City.
After winning his second trophy, Scantling let all the haters know who #1 really was.
