Jurgen Klopp is never one to suppress his feelings – and he publicized them with a wild reaction when Liverpool scored against Bournemouth.
The Reds were furious in the early stages as the Cherries took the lead at Anfield in controversial circumstances.
Callum Wilson touched home a short-range shortcut to knock out Anfield in silence, although he seemed to push Joe Gomez in preparation, leaving the Liverpool players apoplectic.
The goal was reviewed by VAR, but Wilson’s challenge was not found to be a foul and therefore remained.
It didn’t go too well with Klopp, who seemed furious on the sidelines – but his anger turned to joy soon enough.
Mohamed Salah scored a leveling goal shortly after, before Sadio Mane pulled Liverpool 12 minutes before half time.
And Klopp’s reaction to Mane’s goal – which turned out to be the winner – caught attention – as television cameras filmed the German going wild against the linesman.
You can’t hear what Klopp said, but he’s clearly targeting the linesman when going down the touchline.
Since Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti was kicked out for yelling at a referee last week, could Klopp be punished for the explosion?
We will have to wait and see…
