Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ‘never wanted’ to become manager of the German national team, according to reports.
Klopp is said to be fully focused on his work at the Reds and is eyeing a summer move for England and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham.

But despite their exit from the World Cup, Flick should remain in charge
Germany failed to qualify for the World Cup group stages for the second consecutive tournament, having finished third behind Japan and Spain in Group E last week.
Current boss Hansi Flick is still keen to stay in charge of the team despite the disappointing outing, with the Germans yet to manage to impress at a major tournament.
Klopp was a suggested name to become their new manager, but Fabrizio Romano has since reported that the 55-year-old was never interested in the role.
Instead, he is ‘100 per cent focused’ on Liverpool and is already preparing for next summer’s transfer window.
One of his targets is Bellingham, who is expected to leave Dortmund in the coming months amid interest from Anfield, as well as Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Manchester United are said to be ‘out of the running’ for the 19-year-old, who was one of England’s shining stars in Qatar.

Bellingham is a prime target for many teams, with Liverpool one of the favorites
The midfielder’s current contract only ends in 2025 and there is no release clause, with the move expected to cost between €100m and €150m.
Klopp is pushing for the move as Liverpool look to bolster their midfield options for next season.
Germany and Flick are set to continue together for the foreseeable future as they seek to quickly put their World Cup failure behind them.
News like this will be music to the ears of Liverpool fans as they seek more success under the revolutionary Klopp, which will surely come if they continue to sign Bellingham.
