Liverpool fans flew a plane banner with a message of support for the team over Anfield, but it had no impact on their 1-0 loss to Fulham on Sunday.
Mario Lemina’s goal on the eve of halftime sentenced the Reds to a sixth straight loss at home.
Prior to this current run, they were on a 68-game unbeaten streak at Anfield and had never lost more than four in a row at home.
The plane went out early in the second half, with Liverpool in desperate need of a change.
He said: “UNITY IS STRENGTH – LET’S GO RED YNWA”
Almost immediately after the banner flew over the stadium, Manchester United legend Gary Neville posted the video below mocking the Liverpool fans.
Neville said, “Remember the most important thing today.
“As the plane that flew over Liverpool told us – unity is strength.”
He then burst out laughing.
Neville added on Instagram Live: “I watched Dog and Duck vs Fulham on my iPad. Remember, unity is strength, stay together! “
