Liverpool are set to receive a double boost this week, ahead of the Champions League clash with RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
Ozan Kabak and Roberto Firmino were both excluded from the squad which lost 1-0 to Fulham at the weekend due to minor injuries.
The duo are set to return to the fold this week and will be with a shout out to get the nod against the Bundesliga side, according to The Athletic.
Liverpool’s injury woes this season are nothing short of a joke, but Kabak and Firmino’s resurgence in the squad cannot be overstated.

Kabak’s return could allow Fabinho to take on his typical role in midfield, which in itself could be a significant boost in itself.
Liverpool are missing defensively this season, but that could be reduced with a good anchor sitting in the middle of the park, especially in the absence of Jordan Henderson.
While Fabinho is more than capable of dropping great performances in midfield, his lack of a midfield presence is almost as damaging as Virgil van Dijk’s shaped hole in defense.
