At WrestleMania 31, Rock confronted The Authority with Ronda Rousey, where Stephanie McMahon slapped him in front of the audience. During her interview, she brought up that moment when the slap hit Rock hard.
She said, “I have a lot of funny on-screen memories with The Rock. I think I slapped him the hardest I’ve ever slapped him at WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium. It was good, it was a good one. It was as if I had put it in [laughs]. I was almost like ‘oooh, that was a little too hard!’… But then he brought in Ronda Rousey and finally she broke my arm and everything, so eventually he got revenge on me.
During her speech, she also included the experience of working with The Rock with many behind-the-scenes moments. Although she had many segments with him, he still had the last laugh.
The real reason the Rock doesn’t make WWE appearances
Initially, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was supposed to appear on the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. However, this did not happen. The Taurus Brahma was nowhere to be found.
WWE dedicated The Survivor Series to The Rock’s 25th anniversary and promoted their movie Red Notice. WWE has made many hints during its promos with its Superstars to create excitement for Survivor Series. Even WWE has announced a two-brand battle royale to honor the People’s Champion.
