Surf, billion dollar empires and bitter rivalry: Lincoln Younes shares first look at new Barons drama series
Lincoln Younes has shared a trailer for the new ABC Barons surf drama.
The 29-year-old actor, best known for his roles in Tangle and Home and Away, posted a teaser for the 2022 series on his Instagram Thursday evening.

The new series is set in the 1970s and focuses on two surfers who become rivals by creating separate multi-billion dollar empires.
The video shows scenes taking place on beaches with surfers riding the waves, running along the shore and cleaning their boards.
He then moves on to various interactions between the stars of the show as lead character Bill ‘Trotter’ Dwyer, played by actor Sean Keenan, begins to talk about a new business venture with his friends and family.

In Barons, Lincoln will play a character named Buddy Fraser.
He is seen briefly in the teaser as Bill talks about his new business.
Barons is written and created by Liz Doran, Michael Lawrence and John Molloy.

Doran has previously written for other popular Australian shows such as Nine’s Doctor Doctor and Josh Thomas’ comedy-drama series Please Like Me.
Lawrence is the originator of several documentaries on surfing and the sea.
Barons also stars Sean Keenan, Ben O ‘Toole, Jillian Nguyen, Hunter Page-Lochard, George Pullar and Sophia Forrest.
The series will air on ABC in 2022
