We haven’t heard much from Nicki Minaj as she prepares for the birth of her first child. On Twitter, Yachty shared a screenshot showing he was, or was, blocked by Nicki on the social media network. In the photo caption, Lil Yachty wrote: “I still think about it a lot … /:” The post was shared on different platforms as fans wondered what he could have done to deserve the ax of Nicki, but others remember the controversy in 2018. In an interview that year, Yachty was asked if he felt compelled to choose sides between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B during their beef, and he said yes.

Yachty was also asked if he would collaborate with Nicki in the future and he replied, “I couldn’t. As much as I probably would.” Later, Yachty would come forward to say that people had misunderstood and his answers were “crooked”, but the damage was done.
