Lil Nas X left little to the imagination on Thursday when he released his new music video for Industry Baby.

The 22-year-old rapper strips down in the collaboration with Jack Harlow, which refers to the lawsuit he settled with Nike over his custom “Satan Shoes”.

Shortly before the video’s release, he spoke to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about his career and his infamous wardrobe malfunction on Saturday Night Live.

Don’t hold back: Lil Nas X goes to jail and strips in new video for his song Industry Baby, starring Jack Harlow and released Thursday

In his new video, Lil Nas X wears an orange prison jumpsuit in court as a judge (also played by him with many elderly prosthetics) sentences him to “five years in Montero State Prison.”

Before the videos were released, the hitmaker joked that he could go to jail because of his lawsuit against Nike, even if it was just to promote the new video.

Although he is a new prisoner, he rises to the top of the social ranks as other men harass him and follow him into the prison.

His cell is decked out with his platinum records and his Grammy Awards, which he polishes.

The action switches to a group shower, where Lil Nas appears to be completely naked and surrounded by a multitude of naked dancers.

Later, Harlow hands him a book with a small hammer hidden inside to help him escape the prison.

The video references The Shawshank Redemption as the musician (born Montero Lamar Hill) crawls through an underground tunnel to freedom.

Harlow’s verse sees him rapping while zapped in an electric chair, before he and Lil Nas X escape and cavort in a stolen police car.

Shortly before releasing his video, Lil Nas X spoke of another revealing moment – when he slit his pants on live TV while appearing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

He ripped his pants off after dancing against a pole and had to end the song with his hand covering his crotch.

“I bring up a lot of things. I do a lot of things and a lot of things on purpose. It was completely unexpected, ”he admitted to Zane Lowe.

“It caught me off guard… like immediately when it happened, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this thing has happened to me that’s happened to so many other artists, but it’s like I also prayed my a ** is it’s already not like on TV. “Like right there, whatever.

He added that the ordeal “could have been much worse”.

“I really wanted to make sure I keep going. Like I was sticking to it and like I hadn’t left the stage or anything and luckily everything went well.

He also said his “I’m not fucking queer” line was one of his Industry Baby favorites.

“I felt like it was important, because I already knew that this song was going to be really a heavy rap song,” he explained. “And I felt like I knew who was going to listen to that. So let me make sure I double down because a lot of people have said, “Oh, I love his music, but sometimes he gets known.”

‘It was like, “No”, like it was literally … It’s me. It’s me moving forward, “he continued.” It wasn’t a moment, you know? I don’t really try to make sure that any audience that listens to my music is comfortable. I’m going to do myself and you know, “Oh, I hope they love this,” you know? ‘

Lil Nas X shared that his fans can look forward to new music soon, as he is “almost done” with his next album.

He added that he pushed back the release date by months in order to give his recent singles “time to breathe”.
