LG is boosting the content of LG Channels, a streaming service present on its smart TVs.
The company added 10 free channels to its lineup of more than 300, while it added nine free movies to its on-demand library.
It’s one of several companies that have established a presence in the growing ad-supported streaming content sector. LG has a devoted following among owners of its TVs, although many are likely to use a standalone smart TV box like a Roku or Fire TV.
