Lewis Capaldi was announced as the final performer for the 2023 BRIT Awards on February 11.
The singer, 26, will join Stormzy, David Guetta, Lizzo, Harry, Styles and Ella Henderson at the star-studded ceremony at London’s 02.
Joining the show, Lewis said: ‘Last time I performed at the BRIT Awards I was so scared I had a panic attack before I went on and then got hammered afterwards . Looking forward to the same this year.

Lewis is nominated for Song of the Year for Forget Me this year after winning in 2020 with Best New Artist
The star recently scored her fourth UK number 1 single with “Pointless”, following her previous three number 1s in Someone You Loved (2019), Before You Go (2020) and Forget Me (2022), and is the second single from his upcoming second studio album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.
To date, he has achieved five Top Ten singles and the best-selling UK album of 2019 and 2020 and over 25 billion global streams.
Stormzy was recently announced to perform at the show, with the rapper up for three awards, including British Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop / Grime / Rap Number and The Mastercard Album. year for This Is What I Mean.

The hitmaker has won three BRIT Awards at past ceremonies, including Mastercard Album of the Year for his debut Gang Signs & Prayer.
His three studio albums reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and he became the first black male headliner at Glastonbury Festival in 2019.
Lizzo – who is nominated for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for About Damn Time – is also set to perform at the musical extravaganza, three years after her iconic 2020 performance.
DJ and producer David Guetta – who received an International Song of the Year nomination for ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ featuring Bebe Rexha – and Becky Hill, who won Best Dance Act last year and are up for the award again this year, are also both set to bring the party to the BRIT stage.

Ella Henderson has also been added to the bill, having released the hit song ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’ alongside David and Becky last year.

Meanwhile music bosses are making a bold bid to bring Beyoncé to the BRITs, MailOnline can reveal.
High level discussions took place between Sony’s music executives and the superstar’s team to attend the February 11 event at the O2 in London, where she was nominated for two gongs, including that of international artist of the year.
Beyoncé’s presence would be a boost for the awards show, where she is nominated for her single Break My Soul in the International Song of the Year category.
A music source revealed: “There have been serious talks at the top of the record company about Beyoncé performing live at the BRITs – having the biggest superstar in the world to attend the ceremony would be a huge coup.”

“She’s been to the BRITs before and sees the event as a key moment in the music calendar and a way to connect with her European fanbase.”
“It is common for some of the biggest acts of the ceremony to be finalized a few days in advance, so a deal is still being negotiated and could end.
“But there was a big push to get her to the ceremony and for her that would be the absolute dream scenario.”
A source added, “The ceremony schedule is locked, so if Beyoncé were to perform, it would require a reshuffle, but she’s more likely to be there as a guest.”
