LEONARDO DiCaprio literally lives in the fast lane.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that the cheeky Titanic actor has used a diplomatic engine to travel around London in recent weeks in a bid to speed up his travels across the capital.
Rather than deal with the stress of incessant traffic, using a diplomat-owned vehicle means Leo is able to rush through the city ignoring the usual speed rules that constrain the rest of us.
Although cars are technically still subject to British law, they are often ignored by cops when it comes to traffic offenses and their drivers are protected from prosecution by diplomatic immunity.
And Leo had a great time, after being transported in an £80,000 Range Rover owned by an Ivorian diplomat.
A source said: “It’s no secret that Leo has friends in high places, but even by his standards they have a good relationship.
“He was seen driving around central London in a bright blue Range Rover with blacked-out windows belonging to a diplomat from Ivory Coast in West Africa.
“All diplomatic cars are clearly recognizable by their number plates and, most often, the person driving has diplomatic immunity, so speeding or jumping a red light every now and then would not be a problem .
“He even had it dropped off and picked up at the Chiltern Fire Station, where he likes to hang out in the capital.”
That’s okay for some people, huh?
Over the past few months, Leo has been spotted in London, in between his swanky mega-yacht vacations in the Mediterranean this summer.
The Hollywood star has racked up an impressive number of getaways over the past three months, with 17 destinations in just three months.
In addition to spending time with his friend, Spider Man actor Tobey Maguire in Cannes, France, he spent time with his parents on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and hung out on a swanky boat with Arabella Chi from Love Island to Ibiza.
