Leonardo DiCaprio gushed about Martin Scorsese’s next film, The Floor Moon Killerscalling it a “masterpiece”.
Talk to Deadline, the film’s costume designer, Jacqueline West, quoted the Oscar-winning actress as saying, “I was talking to Leo about it. We had lunch before coming here. He said, ‘Jackie, I think we’ve been working on a masterpiece.’
I thought Leo was saying that, that was something. He doesn’t say that lightly. He’s been in the business since he was little. »
West also worked with the megastar on his critically acclaimed film The ghost.
Starring DiCaprio and De Niro, the film follows the story of a real-life incident in newly discovered oil fields in Oklahoma in the 1920s, where Osage natives were killed.
The crime/drama flick is the veteran filmmaker’s most expensive project, with a reported budget of over $200 million.
In the meantime, the film is not landing on Netflix, despite rampant speculation. Instead, Apple+ has integrated the star-studded film into its platform.
Apple has yet to announce the official release date. Filming began in April 2021; the release suffered several delays.
