Huawei launched two horizontal foldables, the Mate Fixed focus digital shared the first renderings on Weibo.
The Huawei Pocket 2 is presented in three colors: a solid black, a dark purple (which appears to have a leather texture) and a rococo white (which has a marbled appearance).
Like its predecessors, the phone has two circles on the back: the first is the camera island, the second is the cover screen. On the P50 Pocket and Pocket S, it was a 1.04-inch circular OLED display with a resolution of 340 x 340 px.
As for the camera island, it has three lenses, although no details are known about any of the modules. The P50 Pocket and Pocket S both had a 40 MP main lens and a 13 MP ultrawide, but the P50 also had an unusual 32 MP camera that operated in the ultraviolet spectrum (it was used for the function of sun protection test).
It’s possible that Huawei will launch the Pocket 2 alongside the upcoming Huawei P70 series – the P60 series arrived in March last year – although Pockets usually arrive later in the year.
