And the radio star says involving the couple’s two daughters, Lola, 1, and Marlie-Mae, 3, in the wedding ceremony was the best decision they ever made.
“I strongly recommend everyone to do it the wrong way,” she told The Daily Telegraph of having children before she married.

“They were both flower girls and we had so much fun. We actually had five bridesmaids, two pageboys and a dog – there was so much chaos, it was so awesome.
Laura said that although she never dreamed of a luxurious nuptials, she had a truly delightful experience marrying the man she loves.
“I’m not someone who’s ever really considered my marriage,” she explained.

“I wasn’t the little girl who dreamed of my big white wedding, so I didn’t really have any expectations of it. But it was just the best day of my life”.
Laura, 38, and Matty, 35, finally got married five years after meeting on The Bachelor.
They exchanged vows at the beautiful Cupitt Estate near Mollymook on the New South Wales south coast.

After meeting on the fifth season of The Bachelor in 2017, the couple welcomed Marlie-Mae in 2019, followed by Lola in February 2021.
They got engaged while vacationing in Fiji in April 2018.
Matty first rose to fame on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette in 2016, before becoming The Bachelor himself a year later, where he met Laura.
