LA’s Finest: Season 1 Notes – TV Series Finale

FOX licensed the first season of the The best of LA TV show to help fill the network’s Fall 2020 schedule. The series has already been renewed by Spectrum for a second season and these episodes have already been aired on demand by the cable operator. How the The best of LA series perform in broadcast ratings? Will FOX License season two or one season be the end of this show’s network exposure? Stay tuned.

Originally released as Spectrum Original, The best of LA is a police proceeding starring Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba, Ernie Hudson, Zach Gilford, Duane Martin, Ryan McPartlin, Zach McGowan and Sophie Reynolds. Unfolding in the Bad Boys universe, the drama centers on Sydney Burnett (Union). Syd once destroyed a drug cartel in Miami, but left the past behind and is now an LAPD detective. His new partner is Nancy McKenna (Alba), a working mom who also has a complicated history. They might not agree on much, but together Syd and Nancy take on some of Los Angeles’ most dangerous criminals..
