Lana Del Rey cut a relaxed figure as she stepped out in Studio City, Calif. On Sunday after firing back at reviews of her new album, Chemtrails.

Hitmaker Summertime Sadness, 35, went for a chic, relaxed look in a white sweater that tied at the front, paired with high-waisted skinny jeans.

The beauty ditched heels in favor of comfy sneakers as she had iced coffee and take out.

Lana wore her slick, straight auburn braids, with a white headband retaining her locks from her face.

She accentuated her pretty features with feline touches of liner and mascara and took COVID-19 precautions with a Gucci face mask.

The release comes after Lana defended her new album after her Deaf article on artists such as Beyonce and Cardi B.

Six-time Grammy-nominated Lana on Sunday revealed the music video for the title track from her seventh studio album Chemtrails on the Country Club.

Unveiling the official cover featuring her 10 “best friends” who she said were “people of color,” Lana stood up for her work, before anyone attacked her.

She wrote in a now deleted comment: ‘In 11 years of working I have always been extremely inclusive without even trying to do it.

“My best friends are rappers, my boyfriends have been rappers.

“ My dearest friends have come from all over, so before I comment again on a WOC / POC issue, I’m not the one storming the [capitol], I’m literally changing the world by putting my life, my thoughts and my love on the table 24/7. Respect it.

Lana (née Elizabeth Grant) was responding to the controversy over her muted tone Instagram post from May 21 where she criticized female artists of color like Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B for “ being number one with songs about d be sexy, wearing no clothes, f *** ing, and cheating.

The self-proclaimed ‘anti-feminist’ – who is of Scottish descent – felt she was ‘crucified’ for ‘glamorous abuse’ in her lyrics.

Del Rey wrote: ‘I just want to say that over the last 10 years I think it’s pathetic that my minor lyrical exploration detailing my sometimes submissive or passvie roles in my relationships has often caused people to say that I put women back hundreds of years. ”

The back of Lana’s upcoming album unveiled the full list of 11 songs with colorful titles like “Tulsa Jesus Freak” and “Breaking Up Slowly”.

The Manhattan-born, Malibu-based belter filmed the cover as well as the video for the title track on September 1 with BRTHR duo Alex Lee & Kyle Wrightman at the helm.

On October 22, Del Rey shared behind-the-scenes footage from a vampire-themed music video, which could have been for his other single, Let Me Love You like a Woman.

Four-time Grammy winner Jack Antonoff produced Chemtrails with Lana as early as 2018 without “ any programming ” and using only a “ 12 strings, grand piano, mellotron and Model D. ”

The 36-year-old Bleachers frontman – who split from Girls creator Lena Dunham in 2017 – said on Sunday: ‘I love this album so much. I love you @lanadelrey! ‘

On a personal level, poet Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass got engaged to musician Clayton Johnson last month after meeting through the exclusive dating app, Raya.

In addition to Chemtrails, Simon & Schuster will be releasing Del Rey ‘s second book of poetry Behind the Iron Gates – Insights from the Institution in March.
