He boasts of a distinguished radio career, a $ 100 million business and a sprawling real estate portfolio.
But Kyle Sandilands’ puzzle is still missing one piece: a baby.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia last week, the 50-year-old radio titan confirmed he was given the green light after undergoing fertility tests, and is now thrilled to be starting a family with his girlfriend Tegan Kynaston, 35 years old.
Ready to be a father: Kyle Sandilands, 50 (left) has confirmed he was given the green light after undergoing fertility tests, and is now thrilled to be starting a family with his girlfriend Tegan Kynaston, 35 ( to the right)
‘I was really nervous [about the fertility test] until he came back saying, “Yes, everything is fine, everything is fine,” confirmed Sandilands.
‘[Tegan] is all good, obviously. She is a young and healthy woman. It is therefore good to know that all is well in this area so that it does not interfere with any future plan, ”he added.
Sandilands admitted he wasn’t always interested in having children, but embraced the idea after spending time with other parents, including John Ibrahim and his partner Sarah Budge.

“We’re like the only couple at the barbecue who doesn’t have kids”: Sandilands admitted he wasn’t always interested in having kids, but came up with the idea after spending time with d other parents – including John Ibrahim and his partner Sarah Bouger. ‘[I wasn’t thinking about having kids] because I was focused on the job. But all of my friends have kids, and Tegan’s family and friends, they all have little kids. And we’re like the only barbecue couple who don’t have kids, we have FOMO [Fear Of Missing Out],’ he said.
The shock jock revealed that he and Tegan even tested the parenting experience by babysitting other people’s children.
“We said, ‘Oh, let’s babysit in case we hate it.’ But we were running and loved it, ”he enthused.

“We have plenty of space for the night nurse and nanny”: And although he and Kynaston haven’t made any concrete plans for their baby yet, it’s clear that Sandilands is up for the challenge
“And my little godson always hits me on the head and hangs around my neck, and I never get mad. So I was like, ‘Okay, I have the tolerance and I feel like the time is near.’
And while he and Kynaston haven’t made any real plans for their baby yet, it’s clear Sandilands is up to the challenge.
“We have plenty of space for the night nurse and nanny to live here and do most of the work. You have to have this, because my work schedule, getting up every morning at 4.30am, that will never change, ”he said.

Veto: When asked what he would like to name his child, Sandilands reflected, “I wanted to call our son Je’Majesty, but Tegan said no”
“I’m not going to bring some sort of situation into the household that might spoil this, I can’t put all of this on the other partner’s load.” It’s also unfair, ”he added.
When asked what he would like to name his child, Sandilands reflected, “I wanted to call our son Je’Majesty, but Tegan said no.”
“I’ve wanted to call my child J’Majesty for as long as I can remember. No one has ever liked that name because it’s the name of Jermaine Jackson’s son. Everyone thinks it’s a little too rich , but I like it, ”he beamed.
Laughing, Sandilands added: “You know this kid would be in trouble, and it would be my fault!”

Love story: Kyle started dating Tegan, the director of communications at his King Kyle company, months after his split from his eight-year-old girlfriend Imogen Anthony in late 2019
