Kyle Richards admitted it was “sad” for her to see Crystal Kung Minkoff leave the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she can’t wait to see what happens next for her former castmate.
The 55-year-old, who introduced Hilaria Baldwin as a potential addition to the series, said she had “mixed feelings” about her friend’s departure on April 16 during a live segment on Amazon.
“Not because of her, just because I’m like, ‘Yeah, it’s probably disappointing, but also, life is good without reality TV,'” the last remaining member of the original RHOBH cast explained.
“It’s not like ‘Oh, my God, poor Crystal.’ She has a great family and there’s a lot to be said for not doing it.
Perhaps Richards was referring to his own feelings about another season in the spotlight.

Minkoff was reportedly fired from the Bravo show, according to US Weekly.
“She was fired because she did not keep her promises,” according to a close source interviewed by the publication.
“The producers told her she had no story, so they had to let her go.”
The entrepreneur put a positive spin on the experience in a recorded message to hundreds of thousands of followers, telling them: “I never thought I’d be asked to do the show in a million d ‘years, let alone filming it for three seasons. “Every year I was asked to come back, it was a blessing. It was an honor.

“Since then, I have really understood the magnitude of what this meant to people,” she said in her message.
“I just wanted to thank you for being such an incredible support to me, and I hope I have been to you, by sharing my story with my [eating disorder], sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer’s disease. I have heard so many incredible stories from you.
She ended the message by promising more on the horizon.
“I have other things going on that I will share with you soon and I will still be able to connect with you because at the end of the day, that has been my greatest gift from filming this series: connecting with so many people of you with your beautiful stories,” she told her fans.
