Craig Conover was forced to come clean and confessed to a past affair with Kristin Cavallari during a late-night argument with Lindsay Hubbard on Monday night’s episode of Summer House.
But Kristin was quick to deny romance speculation as sources claimed their relationship was strictly platonic despite being attached at the hip last summer amid reports they were in a love triangle with her Southern Charm co-star Austen Kroll.
“He’s making it up – it’s not true,” a source told Us Weekly of Craig and Kristin’s rumored romance. “They never met.”

The insider added that Craig is “just capitalizing on his name” after telling Paige DeSorbo he had “connected” with the former MTV star before.
“She doesn’t watch Summer House or pay any attention to it,” the source added. She does not care.
The Sewing Down South entrepreneur revealed some of his past to Paige after she confronted him with rumors he was romantically involved with the former Laguna Beach star.

‘Lindsay, it was like, the whole car ride with Austen, she was like, ‘Who was Kristin dating? Craig or Austen [Kroll]'” the ‘Giggly Squad’ podcast co-host said at the end of the episode.
He interrupted Paige to tell her that Kroll “hates that I kiss [with Kristin].
“I seem like I’m in this love triangle that I didn’t ask to be in,” said Paige, who started dating Craig in May 2021.
‘Are you still fucking her?’ she asked before the “to be continued” credits appeared on the screen.
Speaking to Andy Cohen during a December 2020 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kroll said they became friends when Cavallari reached out to Conover on social media.

When a fan asked if “something else was going on there”, Kroll replied “We all get along so well”, he added, “She is definitely living her best life”, following her split from ex-husband Jay Cutler in April 2020.
Not letting the boys off the hook so easily after appearing on TV, her longtime friend and hairstylist Justin Anderson fought for her on social media.
