Kourtney Kardashian seems to take inspiration from her boyfriend Travis Barker and her famous inked physique.
The 42-year-old KUWTK star played with a tattoo heavy filter and shared the result with her 126 million Instagram followers on Friday.
Shortly after the post, Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who has searched the couple in the past, modeled a similar tattoo filter on her own Instagram Story.

Kardashian remained very casual in the shot, as she wore a black Beastie Boys t-shirt while getting ready for the snap.
Her typically flowing brown hair was tied back in a long braid that ran to the right side of her chest.
Much of the entertainment industry figure’s right arm was covered in fake tattoos, along with both sides of her face and neck.
Her post appeared to be a test of what she would look like if she had to undergo an extensive tattoo like Barker, 45.

Moakler, who split from Travis in 2008 and shares, opted for a more minimalist tattoo filter, which placed a “Baby” tattoo on one eyebrow and several smaller designs around her eyes.
Shanna was quick to voice her criticisms of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship, with the former Miss USA telling TMZ she blamed Kourtney and her little sister Kim for “destroying my family.”
In May, Moakler told Us Weekly that his divorce from Travis was caused by an alleged affair the drummer had with Kim before KUWTK’s fame.
Who did better? Shortly after the post, Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who has searched the couple in the past, modeled a similar tattoo filter on her own Instagram story.
Kim vehemently denied Shanna’s allegation, the 40-year-old calling all the rumor about the affair a “false story” in an Instagram Story post last month.
Kourtney and Travis were acquaintances for several years before they started dating, as they first met while Kim was working for Paris Hilton, with whom the drummer had previously been romantically involved.
The Blink-182 member was also the focus of his own reality show, titled Meet The Barkers, and reportedly gave the family advice on whether to star in their own show.
The reality TV personality and the musician were both involved with their former partners, Scott Disick and Shanna Moakler, respectively, after their first meeting, although the relationship both ended.

The current couple have also welcomed several children from their past relationships.
In January, Kardashian posted a sultry snap to her Instagram account, and Barker left a pink emoji in the comments section, sparking speculation about the couple’s potential relationship.
In the latter part of the month, a source spoke to Us Weekly and confirmed the two were dating, the insider noting that Barker was “very much in love with Kourtney and had been for quite some time.”
The couple were rarely seen in the following weeks before the reality TV mainstay formalized their new Instagram relationship shortly after Valentine’s Day.

The couple then took a vacation to Utah in April and took their respective children with them for the experience.
Later that month, the entrepreneur shared a photo on his Instagram account that showed a new tattoo of his name that Barker had received on the upper left portion of his chest.
Earlier this week, an insider spoke to Entertainment Tonight and spoke about the couple’s take on the engagement rumors that are currently swirling around.
Specifically, the source noted that Kardashian and Barker “definitely see each other end up together someday.”

They also explained how the couple quickly established a relationship with their loved ones and introduced their children from an early age.
The insider said the two were happy “with the way they have integrated their families together… It has always been a priority for both of them and they are proud that everyone can support their happiness.”
The source concluded by expressing that while the drummer is ready to formalize things with Kardashian, she’s okay with taking her time and thinking things over in the near future.
“Travis would love to marry Kourtney, but Kourtney wasn’t sure this was the step she wanted to take … She is extraordinarily happy and doesn’t feel the need or the pressure to get married,” they mentionned.
