DEERFIELD BEACH, Florida., February 6, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Konover South held a groundbreaking ceremony with Minto CommunitiesMEC General Contractors and city leaders of Shoppes of Westlake Landings, the newest retail and restaurant complex in Palm Beach County newest town, Westlake.
Konover South purchased a 7-acre parcel from Minto Communities in 2021. It will develop Westlake Landings Shops, consisting of two multi-tenant commercial buildings and a group of quick-service restaurants totaling 23,000 square feet. MEC General Contractors will construct the project for Konover South.

Konover South expects the project to be 100% leased when it opens later this fall. The Westlake Landings Shoppes are part of a larger building boom in Westlake, approved for 4,500 homes and 2.2 million square feet of retail development.
