‘Kiss my a ***’ – Paddy Pimblett lures the crowd and hits back at critics who shamed him as Brit gains weight ahead of Jordan Leavitt fight at UFC London

UFC star Paddy Pimblett has sent a message to people who shamed him ahead of his fight against Jordan Leavitt on Saturday night at London’s O2 Arena.

“The Baddy” weighed in at the lightweight 156-pound limit heading into his last UFC fight despite ballooning to 205 pounds after earning his second Octagon victory in March.

After hitting his mark, the 27-year-old partially pulled his pants down to expose his back before barking a defiant message at his haters.

“For everyone who tried to shame me and said I’d miss the weight or retire, kiss my ass,” Pimblett said, punctuating his statement by slapping his exposed rear.

The proud scouser recently shocked Manchester United legend Gary Neville when he revealed how heavy he was between fights.

“About six weeks ago, I weighed 93 kg [205lb] and I fight at 70kg [155lb] – that was me being fat. It comes to me quickly though. i am 85.2kg [188lbs] this morning,” Pimblett revealed on The Overlap.

The soccer icon let out an audible gasp as the charismatic youngster revealed his weight between fights before explaining how he manages to put on weight so quickly.

“That was when I was in America, drinking three gallons of Coke and eating about 7,000 calories a day, easy,” Pimblett added.

“The Monday after my fight, I came home. I just went to get some screens [food] That day. I went to eat a big Nando in the evening and only ate chocolate all day. I counted my calories, and I had eaten 11,000 calories without trying.

The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion is poised to become a superstar after scoring back-to-back first-round wins and a legion of new fans since joining the UFC in 2021.

Pimblett will face his first competitive step when he takes on another prospect in Jordan Leavitt, who is 10-1 and has three wins in his first four UFC fights.

The pair shared an unusual fight week with Liverpool’s crazed MMA star vowing to put his opponent in a teabag which angered him with repeated knockout and ‘twerk on’ threats on him at the UFC London.
