Kim Kardashian is supporting Pete Davidson as he tackles his next chapter.
The reality star shared a collage of her beau via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, hours after Davidson last appeared on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
Hello Colin [Jost] and [Michael] Che and millions of people only watch to see if I bring up Kanye [West]Davidson, 28, said during the show’s “weekend update,” referring to his 41-year-old girlfriend’s ex-husband, 44.
“I never imagined this would be my life.”
The comedian then recalled what it was like to join “SNL” in 2014 when he was just 20 years old.
“Look at me when I started here,” he said, as a photo of himself flashed onscreen.
“Back then I was just a skinny kid and nobody knew what race I was,” he joked. “Like now everyone knows I’m white because I’ve been hugely successful while barely showing up for work.”
During his farewell, Davidson also referenced his short-lived engagement to Ariana Grande while acknowledging the show’s creator and producer, Lorne Michaels.
“He really always gives me the best advice,” Davidson said of the 77-year-old Michaels. “It’s all true. I’ll never forget. I called him when I got engaged. I was like, ‘Lorne, I just got engaged to Ariana Grande after dating her for two weeks.’ He says, ‘Oh, hold on for life.’ It’s a true story.
The ‘King of Staten Island’ star confirmed his departure shortly after reports emerged on Friday that he was leaving the iconic sketch show after eight years.
After joining in 2014, Davidson shot to fame with popular stints on “Weekend Update,” major movie roles, Netflix specials, and a string of high-profile girlfriends.
While Davidson was in New York filming ‘SNL’ – where he first met Kim during her debut as a host in October 2021 – the KKW Beauty mogul was in Italy ahead of the big sister’s wedding Kourtney Kardashian with Travis Barker.
Several other family members have been spotted in Portofino, including Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian.
