After an never-before-seen photo of Khloe Kardashian rocking a bikini by the pool was shared on social media, the “Revenge Body” star and her company immediately jumped into action to get the image deleted. ‘Internet.

Now Kardashian is talking about the incident. On Wednesday night, she shared an Instagram post of unedited photos and videos, describing how difficult it is to live life in the spotlight.

“Hey guys, it’s me and my body untouched and unfiltered,” she says. “The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who’s struggled with body image all of their life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in a bad light or that don’t capture your body as it is after working so hard to get there – and then sharing it with the world – you should have the right to ask that it not be shared – no matter who you are. “

She added that in truth “the constant ridicule and judgment of my entire life for being perfect and meeting other people’s standards of how I should look has been too much to bear.”

The “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star went on to list some of the cruel comparisons made about her over the years.

“You never really get used to being judged and set aside and being told how unattractive this one is, but I’ll say if you hear something enough you’ll start to believe it,” she declared. “That’s how I’ve been conditioned to feel, that I’m not beautiful enough just being me.”

The photo in question showed Kardashian in a swimsuit in a swimming pool and was shopping around online. His company appears to have issued takedown notices to those who shared it, as several online accounts have removed their posts with the image.

“The color-edited photo was taken of Khloe at a private family reunion and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Tracy Romulus, KKW Brands’ marketing director, told Page Six.

“Khloe is beautiful, but the copyright owner has the right not to want to remove an image that is not intended for publication.”

Kardashian’s statement on Wednesday – accompanied by several photos and videos showing off her svelte look – echoed that sentiment. She wrote that she would “shamelessly” continue to use filters and montages to “present myself to the world as I want to be seen”, just as she does makeup and nails.

“My body, my image and how I choose to look and what I want to share is my choice. It is not up to anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not,” she said.
