Kendall Jenner has always kept her relationships very private, but on Friday she hugged and kissed boyfriend Devin Booker in one of the most public places imaginable, at Staples Center during a Lakers game.
Booker and Jenner have known each other since at least 2018, although at the time they were both dating other people. Although it initially started out as a casual hookup, the couple went official on Instagram in February, sharing photos of each other on Valentine’s Day as a tribute to their romance.
It’s been over a year and it looks like the 25-year-old model is finally comfortable becoming a PDA official, kissing her man after her team, the Phoenix Suns, defeat the Los Angeles Lakers.
Keeping up with the Kardashianss Producer Farnaz Farjam mentioned that Jenner has a “one-year rule” when it comes to dating during an interview with the Daily Dish podcast.
“Kendall always had this rule – she just felt like she had to be with someone for at least a year before letting them be on the show because she doesn’t always know what people’s intentions are. “said Farjam.
And at the show reunion, Jenner backed that up by saying, “I think it makes my life a lot easier and our relationship a lot better, to be completely honest. I just feel like it’s a private matter, it’s really no one else to judge or to know.
While she probably isn’t hungry for judgment, it looks like Jenner is finally comfortable being open about her relationship. An insider told ET that Jenner and Booker just wanted to have fun, which could be another reason to avoid public attention.
“They’re not putting any kind of pressure on things for the future,” the insider said. “They realize that they are both still young and that they have a great future ahead of them. Right now they’re just enjoying their time together and taking things as they come.
