(Our car expert) – Range Rover has drawn the curtains, unveiling the third generation of the Range Rover Sport, and in America it’s a big hit. Range Rover alone sold 300,000 thousand.
It shook up the SUV market in 2005. When it announced a new type of vehicle, it took what the world already knew about the Range Rover and its capabilities and added a distinctive sporty character to it. There will be two petrol versions and a plug-in hybrid version that will travel 48 miles on a single charge of electricity.
There is no doubt that he is now the most desirable member of the Range Rover family, which now has four members.
It’s the most modern and has arguably the most advanced features in the family. Inside each wheel arch is a microphone which is part of a noise canceling system.
This noise canceling system reduces the amount of road noise entering the vehicle through the head restraint speakers.
Inside, Range Rover has taken what is accepted and combined it with a step beyond imagination. There is a very advanced cabin air filtration system that filters out many particles in the air, including viruses. So once inside the vehicle you are much safer than outside the new Range Rover Sport.
Advanced technology is, of course, expected. But the features offered are not only impressive but practically useful for navigating the harsh conditions of the rural landscape or a metropolitan jungle Plex.
From New York to Hollywood, from London to Iceland, and the Range Rover Sport, simply called the Sport by owners, will continue to take its place in driveways, trails and pavements, but with a new shape and a new powertrain in this third generation.
We can expect all three variants to hit dealerships late summer to early fall.
