Keanu Reeves surprised staff at a local Hertfordshire pub when he made an unexpected visit on Saturday afternoon.
The actor, 58, was “more than happy” to chat with staff at Robin Hood in Tring, before shaking hands with two chefs in the kitchen, thanking them for his lunch and posing with a bartender.
Barmaid Laura Rolfe told Metro: ‘He came to the bar and ordered a beer (Seafarers Ale) and just walked around the corner. He ordered fish and chips and Nat’s shepherd’s pie.
“When I took the cutlery down, I asked, ‘Oh, is anyone else joining you? but he said, “No, we want to try both.” He was with someone else. Probably a driver or a friend, perhaps?
Admitting she swore when the ‘beautiful’ Hollywood star entered the establishment at 12.30pm, she continued: ‘One of our cooks was so excited he looked like he was passing out. “

It’s unclear why Keanu is visiting the home county, but in August he caused a stir while in Northamptonshire to film an upcoming Disney+ docuseries.
Not only did he enjoy a boozy dinner at a local pub where he posed with a plethora of flabbergasted fans, but he left a delighted British couple as they crashed their marriage.
The John Wick star stunned customers after turning up for dinner ‘and some whiskies’ at the local pub, The Fox and Hounds in Charwelton, where he happily mingled with punters and posed for pictures.
Owner Danny Ricks said he had to do a “double take” when the movie star walked in and sat down at a table with six other people.
The screen star ate a vegetarian Caesar salad as a starter followed by a main course of falafel – washed down with “quite a few double whiskies”.
Danny said: “It was weird. I had to do a double take when he came in because I really couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought “this guy looks a lot like Keanu Reeves”.
“He sat down with six other viewers, I couldn’t really hear what they were talking about, but it was all about the shooting and the scripts.
“He was just a lovely guy, down to earth and really nice to everyone. Everything you would think nice about him was true.

“He stood up and took pictures with customers and staff. Nothing was too much for him, he took plenty of time to chat with everyone.
“He had the Caesar salad and a dish of falafel and he also drank quite a few double whiskeys. He certainly likes his whisky.
“We managed to stay professional until the end of his visit, but of course we had to take a picture with him.
“It’s not every day that a Hollywood star walks into your pub. It made everyone’s night. He was such a great guy and absolutely adorable.

Keanu bumped into couple Nikki and James Roadnight on their big day because he was staying at their four-star Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, where rooms start at £266 a night and go up to £495.
The reception was unforgettable as the Matrix star came to celebrate shortly after the couple said “I do” when the groom bumped into him at the bar on Monday.
Nikki told Newsweek: “My husband saw him in the bar and told him he just got married and invited Keanu to come say hello and have a drink with us if he wanted to.”
“He was very friendly and said he would do it later. We weren’t sure if he would or not, but it was cool that my husband talked to him!
She explained that her husband had seen her earlier in the hotel bar and asked her to join them.
Wedding guests were thrilled when the star accepted the couple’s offer, giving them an extra special day.
“He was so kind and friendly and congratulated us on our marriage. He was kind enough to take some pictures and our wedding photographer was able to capture some too! Then he took the time to talk to some of our guests and take more pictures!
