Birthday love! Katy Perry gushes fiance Orlando bloom on Wednesday January 13, when the actor was 44 years old.
The “I Kissed a Girl” singer, 36, referred to Bloom as “love” and “brilliant father” via Instagram, sharing 10 photos of them throughout their relationship.
“Thank you for always coming back down to the mat with me and never typing…” she captioned the message, adding, “I’m so glad my moon has found its sun, I love you. [the] doe from all over the world.
Perry’s post included photos of her pregnancy with daughter Daisy, 4 months old, as well as photos of her and the Pirates of the Caribbean star of their travels. The award-winning musician has included several candid shots of Bloom alone, as well as a few of the couple brushing their teeth and smiling together.
The California native tagged the place as “God sent me an angel from heaven above.”
In November 2020, a source exclusively said Us weekly that Bloom is a “super involved” father to Daisy. “Orlando has made Daisy his priority and cut a lot of her work time to stay home while on vacation,” the insider said at the time. “Orlando is happy to be a new dad again. He did the night feeds and helped as best he could.
The source said We that having a child together has helped the British actor and Perry ‘get closer’. He is also the father of son Flynn, 10, with an ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
“At first they worried that Katy would have to go straight back to work, but she was fully focused on being a mom and happy to stay home and spend time with Daisy,” the source said. “No travel is planned at the moment.”
Perry gave birth in August 2020. “We are floating with love and wonder at the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the couple wrote in a joint statement after Daisy’s arrival. The Grammy nominee revealed her baby bump in her “Never Worn White” music video five months earlier.
Around the same time, Perry opened up about his family plans, telling the Sunday Times she was “really specific” about how it would be.
“I said to my management, ‘I’m going to get pregnant, I want to have a baby. I have an excellent candidate, finally, and I want to release this record, ”she explained to the newspaper. “It was expected. [Bloom and I] I went to Egypt in October for my birthday and just decided. I’ve always liked the way he’s with Flynn so much that I think my primitive nature is like ‘Yeah, go.’ “
The American Music Award winner and the Lord of the Rings star started dating in 2016. He proposed after three years as a couple. In September 2020, a source exclusively told us that Perry and Bloom are not “focused” on wedding planning during the coronavirus pandemic.
