Since she became a new mom, Katy Perry learned that some tasks are worth prioritizing, while others not so much.
During the last episode of American Idol on Sunday April 4, the 36-year-old judge opted for a colorful way of explaining how the candidate Cassandra ColemanThe young woman’s last performance had affected her physiologically.
After Cassandra sang “Apologize” with Ryan tedderKaty was exuberant in her praise and even provided a visual aid.
“A few things,” Katy said. “Your voice is a spiritual experience. It’s angelic from another world. And as a new mother, I don’t have much time, so I stopped shaving my legs. But when you sang, the hair from my legs grew an inch and a half. So shivers all over my body. “
Katy concluded by saying, “It was amazing” and Cassandra replied, “Wow, I’m honored.”
This host leads Ryan seacrest to joke about another judge Luke bryan saying, “I’m telling you, Luke was making sure you were telling the truth while you were speaking.”

With that, Katy put her legs down on the table for the country singer to check out her anecdote, though she warned, “Don’t touch.”
After watching closely, Luke confirmed, “She literally has hair on her legs!” Ryan replied, “Thanks for the forensic report.”
The singer of “Firework” took to Twitter to address the viral moment. “A real live look at the hair on my legs as I hear @casscoleman singing,” she captioned a GIF showing cartoon hair growing out of a pair of legs.
That said, not everyone was sure Katy was telling the truth, as a number of fans shared a screenshot from the footage which appeared to show the judge’s legs to be fairly smooth.
