They will now fight in the Irish capital for Taylor’s undisputed lightweight championship later this year, according to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn who announced the fight on DAZN.
Taylor, who has never fought in her home country as a professional boxer, is excited to travel to Dublin for the biggest fight of her career.
The 36-year-old said: “It’s more than a dream come true. My Ireland debut against Amanda Serrano, ‘The Real Deal’ Amanda Serrano. It’s incredible. The last fight was epic, and I expect no less for the next one.
Serrano added: “She deserves to fight in Ireland, and it will be a bigger and better fight there. I know what I must do.
Last May, Taylor successfully defended his WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and Ring titles via a very slim split decision after 10 rounds of back and forth with seven-weight world champion Serrano.
The fight was billed as the biggest in women’s boxing history as Taylor and Serrano won $1 million each and they more than made their money putting on a hell of a show for those in attendance, including including talkSPORT Breakfast host Laura Woods, who loved every second of the event.

Eddie Hearn says Croke Park is too expensive, but Conor McGregor wants to see Taylor fight at the 80,000-seater stadium
It was hoped a rematch would take place at Croke Park in front of over 80,000 people, but Taylor’s promoter Hearn recently ruled out the Gaelic Athletic Association headquarters as a potential venue because it costs three times as much to rent as Wembley Stadium.
However, UFC legend Conor McGregor is eager to see his compatriot fight at Croke Park and is ready to sponsor Taylor-Serrano 2 to the tune of €500,000.
Hearn is now in touch with “Notorious” on social media and is planning a trip to Ireland to discuss a potential deal with the former two-weight UFC champion.
If those talks come to nothing, it has been suggested that the fight will take place in front of around 13,000 people at the 3Arena in Dublin.
