Her plump pout was super shiny and she made her blue eyes pop with smudged black eyeliner.

She flashed a beaming smile as she posed with her chiseled arms by her sides.

Tuesday was a busy day for Upton, who stopped by the CBS Morning Show early to talk about his selection to grace one of Sports Illustrated’s 60th anniversary covers, which includes seven special issues.

CBS’ Gayle King, Hunter McGrady and Chrissy Teigen were among the other contestants selected for the special swimsuit shoot.

For her cover story, the veteran model looked flawless in a red and pink Normaillot bikini as she stood with her arms above her head and her impressive abs on full display.

“It’s about being confident in your body, no matter what it looks like. Your voice counts. You can empower yourself by being confident,” she said on the morning show.

“It looks so good,” she told CBS host Nate Burleson as she took her first look at the finished cover. ‘It never gets old, [Sports Illustrated] always finds a way to surprise me.

The mother-of-one went on to say that after being featured on six covers of the magazine, she felt it was the best decision for her.

“It completely changed my career,” she said of her first cover. “It was a dream of mine. Sports Illustrated is the only magazine that puts your name next to your photo.

Upton reposted the reveal on her Instagram, writing, “Glad to be back with my SI family!” @yutsai88, @mj_day and the whole SI team truly feel like family. I am so grateful to share this incredible journey with you all! »

SI Swimsuit Editor-in-Chief MJ Day explained on CBS Mornings: “Look, there are a lot of swimsuit photos in this issue.

“We have no shortage of swimsuits, but I like the idea of bringing all these women together in a different way for us.

“I want the world to realize that sports illustrations have become a powerful vehicle for change with a much greater impact.”

MJ added in a statement that she wanted to go all out for this year’s covers since it’s the magazine’s 60th anniversary.

The mother-of-one’s bouncy blonde curls flowed down her chest and her makeup was soft but sultry.
She also posed for portraits inside the event venue in New York.

“A 60th birthday is something very important. This number may not be as generously recognized as the number 50, but we thought we should also wholeheartedly celebrate this 60th anniversary, for one simple reason: because the journey we have traveled over the past 10 recent years is something that we humbly consider to be revolutionary,” she explained.

“We broke stereotypes. We have embraced diversity. We stood for inclusiveness.

“With each passing year, we have challenged ourselves to push the boundaries and redefine what it means to be a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.”
