Kate Langbroek reveals she wasn’t shocked Carrie Bickmore left The Project as she juggled ‘three full-time jobs’

Kate Langbroek has revealed her thoughts on her co-star, Carrie Bickmore’s departure from The Project.

The 57-year-old told Stellar Magazine she was not surprised Carrie, 41, quit because she had such a heavy workload.

In addition to appearing on The Project, Carrie hosts the Carrie & Tommy radio show on the Hit Network and runs her Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Foundation.

“Let’s not forget, as Pete Helliar said, she’s retiring to work full-time in radio,” Kate told the publication.

“Because she has such a great work ethic, she’s basically worked two full-time jobs,” the media personality explained.

“Three, if you count his family and his commitments to the foundation.”

The 57-year-old told Stellar Magazine she was not surprised Carrie, 41, quit because she had such a heavy workload.

The star went on to say she had given Carrie some advice on what it was like to quit a full-time job – Kate left her radio show to live in Italy with her family during a long sabbatical.

“Of course, I offered some because I always give advice. I just talked to him a bit about what I learned in this process and what was an epiphany for me at first,” she said.

Carrie announced her departure from The Project after 12 years on the air last month.

She will leave Channel 10 completely after finishing this month, which will make her next career move unclear.

The radio star had endeavored to record episodes ‘at Ten’s studios in South Yarra during the build-up to The Project, or at a grandma’s in the back’ of his house, The Herald Sun reported. .

The publication pointed out that the TV personality struggled to film the driving time show while balancing her other gig.
